TURKEL DESIGN
Recognized for creating homes of classic simplicity and enduring beauty, Turkel Design is devoted to clean lines and the beauty of natural materials.
Comprised of former faculty and graduates of the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Turkel Design is a small, approachable residential design practice based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In 2005, founding partner Joel Turkel was on of just three designers selected by Dwell magazine to create homes exclusively for the Dwell brand. Four years later, Turkel Design was again asked to contribute new designs to the 2009 Dwell Homes Collection in partnership with Lindal Homes.
These inspired designs were honored by TIME magazine as the only commercially available homes to be included in Green Design 100, a compendium of the world's best environmentally-conscious design.
Turkel Design and Lindal Homes have prepared 7 designs for the Dwell Homes Collection. Each of these designs are available through Modern Dwellings - your independent Lindal Homes dealer.
Turkel Design is available to work with clients to modify each plan to suit unique sites, budgets, and lifestyle requirements.
